Free webinar: Make sleep health a priority

Fatigue and sleep health expert Kat Aubrey leads World Sleep Day talk


To mark World Sleep Day on Friday 14 March, vehicle safety and training experts AutoSense will host a free webinar, Make Sleep a Health Priority presented by fatigue expert Kat Aubrey.

Kat says an astounding 59 driver fatigue events per day* were recorded last year by Guardian cameras installed by AutoSense in New Zealand vehicles.


“Driver distraction, drowsiness and fatigue is the biggest challenge in New Zealand’s transport sector today, with more than 52,560 driver distraction events and 21,470 driver fatigue events* recorded by Guardian last year, and we’re working hard to help New Zealand keep ahead of the game when it comes to safeguarding the safety of people on the roads,” she said.


The 30 minute webinar will include Kat’s expert insights on managing fatigue in the transport industry, followed by a live session where viewers can ask questions.


The session will cover:

  • The importance of good sleep and its impact on health and performance

  • What good sleep is (and isn't)

  • Understanding the stages of sleep

  • Top tips for a good night's sleep

  • What to do if sleep issues are holding you back
